FIRE!

On the night of 26 June 2021 a fire broke out in Mandela Square. By the time it was put out, several shacks were burnt out, and with it, everything the families owned. On Sunday morning 27 June another fire destroyed another home in Ashbury.

We jumped to action and collected information on the families involved with detail on the people, children and their particular needs. By Monday morning we were able to distribute blankets, food, clothes and toiletries to each family.

With donations streaming in a second and third delivery of donations were possible, assisting the people who lost everything, in slowly putting their lives back together again.
